Welcome to the first edition of the ANS newsletter.
This isn’t going to be one of those ultra-clinical sports nutrition emails where we throw 47 ingredient studies at you and pretend your body is a chemistry experiment.
Because here’s the thing: We don’t believe performance comes from shocking your nervous system into survival mode every workout.
We believe long-term performance is built through: consistency, fueling habits, sustainable energy supporting the body instead of fighting against it. That’s exactly why we use guarana.
| |
Wait… What Even Is Guarana?
You’ve probably consumed it before without realizing. It’s commonly found in: energy drinks, sodas, supplements, etc.
In fact, brands like: Red Bull, Monster…have all used guarana in some form before.
The difference is: most people have no idea they’re taking it. And most brands aren’t using it for the same reason we are.
| |
| |
So What Actually Is Guarana?
A Brazilian plant, Guarana has been used for centuries by the indigenous people of the Amazon region to fight fatigue and boost energy.
Its seeds naturally contain caffeine along with compounds like: tannins, theobromine, antioxidants, which is why the energy experience often feels different compared to aggressive synthetic caffeine hits.

Why We Like It at ANS
Most sports nutrition products are designed around one thing: Maximum stimulation. More intensity. More “GO HARD OR GO HOME” energy. And that has its place sometimes. But not every training session should feel like your nervous system is fighting for its life.
When we formulated ANS, the goal wasn’t: “How do we create the hardest-hitting product possible?” We asked: “What helps people train consistently over time?” Because sustainable performance matters more than one insanely stimulated workout.
